The design offers features to improve overall performance and make it a better choice for installation at more flange bearing locations. The straight mainline running rail is not only unbroken but it is also canted at the normal 1:40 angle to allow for ease of installation and providing a smooth continuous wheel contact path throughout the mainline side. The one-piece manganese design provides a level flange bearing guarded wheel path through the body of the frog on the turnout side. more

The BRD (Broken Rail Detection) system allows a railroad to deploy a safe program for the detection of broken rail in any territory. The use of our DC-coded track circuit allows for detection sections up to 50,000 feet. Indications can be provided visually or audibly to the train crew or dispatcher, while approaching each section. The low power consumption also allows for solar charging of the system. more
The Over Tie Switch Layout makes use of steel ties that now sit below the connecting rods, front rod & switch rod. The Over Tie Switch Layout’s unique design allows for tamping, where previously restricted between the ties. Point lugs are no longer rigid, but attached to a sliding system allowing for running rail well beyond +/- 1-1/2 inches. more
