Rail Components

Ties
The rails rest on the ties and are aligned by Ties Plates. Pressure creosoted cross ties and switch ties can be supplied in any quantity to A.R.E.A or any other specification. Tie Plates are available in single or double shoulder design.
Tie Plates
Tie Plates are rolled steel stock positioned between the ties and the base of the rails and are spiked to the ties. These plates keep the rails and other components in proper alignment.
