Diesel-Electric Locomotives for Commuter and Intercity Services

Vossloh is designing and manufacturing high-performance diesel-electric locomotives for commuter and intercity services in North America with proven components e.g. EMD engine and propulsion system.

Thirty-three modern and high powered, commuter locomotives (model PL42AC) supplied in 2003 are operating successfully at New Jersey Transit today. These locomotives were completely designed at the Vossloh Engineering Centre in Valencia (Spain) and assembled in Hornell, New York.
